We all have our favorite teachers----those who seem truly interested in us. But what about teachers we don’t know as well ( or even don’t like much)? You can do lots of things to get a good relationship with your teacher.

First, try to be a good student: go to class on time, finish all homework on time, be active in the class and ask questions often.

Second, show an interest in the subject. Obviously, your teachers are really interested in their subjects. Showing the teacher that you care-----even if you’re not good at math or French----sends the message that you are a dedicated(專注的) student.

Third, you can also often have a talk with your teacher when he is free. Use this time to get extra help, ask questions, talk about the subject, or talk about your progress in class. You may be surprised to learn that your teacher is a bit more relaxed one-on-one than when lecturing(講課) in front of the whole class.
