All the housewives who went to the new supermarket (超級(jí)市場(chǎng))had one great wish to be the lucky customer (顧客)who did not have to pay for her shopping. The cupboards in her kitchen (廚房)were full of things which she did not need. Her husband tried to stop her, but he failed. She dreamed of (夢(mèng)想)the day when the manager (經(jīng)理)of the supermarket would approached (靠近)her and said, “Madam, this is your lucky day. Everything in your basket is free.”
One Friday morning, after she had finished her shopping and had taken it to her car, she found that she had forgotten to buy some tea.
