The idea of living on the moon is no long science fiction. However, there will be drawbacks to live there as well as advantage.

On the positive side, people will be able to escape from the crowding cities, but will have clear views of the earth and stars.

On the other hand, the moon is a unfriendly place for humans. First of all, people will have to wear special suits and if their equipment fails, it will probably die. Secondly, they will have to get used to be weightless. Finally, they’ll probably miss the plants and wildlife that exists on the earth.

In all, the moon might be an ideal place where humans take over a holiday or scientists carry out researches, but not a place for ordinary people to live all the time.

Last month our school held a Reading Week, which aim was to encourage the students to read wide. During the week, book lovers recommended a plenty of good books suitable for high school students. Applying for a foreign university is a huge project. Here is my experience. I did voluntary work in Grade One. I listed all of my achievement and the voluntary work I have done. After complete the online admission process, I took a deep breathe and dreamed about my dream college. However, except offer from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), I total got eight rejections. One day, I locked myself in my room but thought about what I had done. Finally I understood that I could learn nothing from the experience even though those rejections were made me sad. I accepted the UCSD's offer and adjusted myself quickly. For this attitude, everything I saw of UCSD thrilled me.
