也可以換作when、while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,該從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài).如:
Don't be careless when/while having an exam.=Don't be careless in having an exam.=Don't be careless when/while you are having an exam.考試時(shí)不要粗心.

Whenever引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,but連接的轉(zhuǎn)折句,which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語(yǔ)從句.
Whenever引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句,表示"無(wú)論何時(shí)",相當(dāng)于 at whatever time,no matter when等.如:
