A boy who was cleaning the shoes in the street said to a young man passed by , “Let me clean your boots . It’ll spend you only a penny .” But the young man refused. Then the boy told him that he will clean his boots for nothing .The young man agreed, and soon a boot shining brightly .Then he put the other boot on the box , and the boy refused to clean it unless he was paid two pence for his work . The young man refused to pay for anything and went away . But the well-cleaning boot made the dirty ones so bad that he couldn't walk on . He returned back and gave the boy two pence .

One day, I was sitting in class taking notes then my teacher asked me to leave the classroom. I have no clue as to what was about to happen. I nervously walked out of the classroom and I saw my father being standing by the door. I asked him what was going. He just told me to get into his car immediately. When I got in, I found my grandparents were there, too. My grandfather told me that we were going to have dinner for mine birthday, which was actual in two days. Then, grandmother gave me a birthday card. I opened it quickly, which made everyone surprising. But they gave me a much big surprise! The card is said, “Happy birthday! We’re going to Disney World, RIGHT NOW!”

Last Saturday the students of our class made a bike trip of Wanping, a small town by the Taihu Lake. We set off earlier in the morning. After getting to the town, we had visited some places of interest. At noon, we had picnic near the lake. Everybody was attracted with the beautiful scenery and we took a lot of picture. In the afternoon, some of them went fishing, some flew kites, and the others rowed boats on the water. We both had a wonderful time! We spend two weeks in London last year. We went there in the autumn .We think it is the best season to visit England. The weather is usually good but there aren’t too many tourists in October.

We stayed in a small hotel in the West End .It was convenient as we did most of our traveling by foot. We went to look at the places where all tourists see. We saw Buckingham Palace and the National Gallery.

We went to shopping in Oxford Street and spent too many money .What we liked most, though, was going to theatre. We don’t have the chance to see so wonderful plays at home .A lot of people say English food is very badly. We didn’t think so. It’s true that most of the restaurants are French or Italian or Chinese, but we had some very good meal.
