【題目】閱讀短文,然后根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,簡(jiǎn)要回答下列問(wèn)題。
If someone says to you, "give me five", don't give five yuan to him! It will make others laugh! The person isn't asking for your money, but your fingers.
In the U.S.A, “give me five” or “give me the high five” is a good gesture(手勢(shì)). You can see it often in films or on TV. It means the slapping (拍打)of each other's right hands together. People do it when something happy happens. For example, if a student does well in exams or gets No.1 in his school sports meet, he will give high fives to his friends to celebrate.
Who did this gesture first? Why did he do that? It may come from the old Roman (古羅馬的) gesture of raising(舉起)the right arm for the emperor(皇帝). This showed that the person raising his arm had nothing in his hand and he couldn't hurt the emperor.

【題目】 April Fool’s Day is coming! But do you know how April Fool’s Day comes?
In the sixteenth century in France, the start of the New Year was on April 1st. People celebrated the New Year in the same way as it is today. They held parties and danced into the late night.
Then in 1562, Pope Gregory introduced a new calendar into the Christian(基督教的)world, and the new year fell on January 1st. Some people didn’t believe the change in the date, so they celebrated the New Year on April 1st. Others played tricks on them and called them “April fools”.
Today Americans play small tricks on friends on the first day of April. One common trick on April Fool’s Day is pointing down to a friend’s shoe and saying, “Your shoelace is untied.” School children like to tell a classmate that there are no classes. Then if someone believes the trick, he or she will be called the “April fool”! People play tricks on each other only because they want to enjoy themselves together.
